MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer is an important player within music in the Latin mainstream. The 2016 smash Una Lady Como Tu was winner of the Colombian Kids Choice Award for Most Popular Song in the year 2017. In Medellin the year of Medellin, Sony's La Industria Inc. released ADN his first long-player. The album reached the top of the charts at number 8 places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Following that year, he collaborated with Ozuna for the creation of Vaina Loca which climbed to the top of five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. Mala Influencia came out as his collaboration with Noriel in the year 2020. Following that year, Dopamina became his second album. Later, in 2021, he sang a duet in 2021 alongside TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. The year 2023 came around and the hit La Bachata was released. Turizo has a musical background, both his parents and brother are musicians. In interviews, Turizo said that music is an essential part of his life. When he was young, he instructed to play the piano, guitar and ukulele. In spite of initially wanting to become a veterinarian, Julian convinced him that learning with a Cuban singer would alter the direction of his career.
